Be Well and See Well

Jer 1:12 MKJV and Jehovah said to me, you have seen well; for I will watch over My Word to perform it.

NKJV for I am ready to perform My Word.

If we really want to be well we must be determined to see the source of being well.  Anyone you ask would say being well is far better than being sick. Well is far better.  We must know the source of sickness and the source of wellness.

Sickness and disease is the fowl offspring of its father Satan and its mother sin.

Sin, sickness, death and poverty did not originate with God and it was never in the plan for mankind.  There is no sickness in Heaven, so it doesn’t come from God.  Sickness and disease didn’t begin until man sinned in the garden. Sin and disobedience brought the curse into earth which also brought sickness on the scene.  We see in the above scripture the words “Seen Well”. The Hebrew word for Well-H3190—means to be pleasing, be well, be glad, be joyful, go well with, make good or right, and be successful.  Being well is being successful in our body.  The Hebrew word for Seen-H7200—means to look at, to inspect, consider, observe, give attention to, gaze at, look intently.  What God is telling us all is that we must look intently and give attention to consistently what He is saying in His Word. We will See Well when we learn to See that the Source of Being Well is the word of God. God told Moses in Num 21:8 to put a serpent on a pole and anyone who looked intently with a steadfast gaze would be healed.

As we learn to look intently at the Word of God pertaining to healing, we too can See Well and therefore we can Be Well.

Flames of Fire 2/5/23

Heb 1:7 KJV And of the angels He says, “Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire.”

CEV And when God speaks about the angels, he says, “I change my angels into wind and my servants into flaming fire.”

Ministers, in original language, means servant and worshipper of God. We know that we were made to serve and worship Him.  Remember the 3 Hebrews that were cast into the burning fiery furnace?  Shadrach means rejoicing in the way. Meshach means to take hold and to continue. Abednego means servant or worshipper.  When we as servants and ministers of God, rejoice in THE WAY,  take hold of God’s word, serve and worship Him, we too can be ablaze for God.  And any fire the enemy tries to bring our way cannot harm us!  Dan 3:25 GW The king replied, “But look, I see four men. They’re untied, walking in the middle of the fire, and unharmed. The fourth one looks like a son of the gods.”  They were walking in the middle of the fire of the enemy because they were fired up FOR God and WITH the fire of God. It’s better to burn for God than to burn with the devil.  Satan’s destiny is a lake of fire where the fire is never quenched and the punishment will never cease.

God wants to make us flames of fire for Him and save us from the devil’s flames.  Jesus said in Luke 12:49 that He came to send fire on the earth.  On the day of Pentecost the Fire of God was poured out from heaven on earth into the upper room where God’s servants and worshipers had been waiting for the promise of the Spirit.  That was the start of an outpouring of the fire of God and it is continuing on to those who want it. God wants us to become so consumed with His Word and Spirit that nothing else can consume us.

In Rev. 3:16 Jesus said to those lukewarm that are neither cold nor hot, that He would spew them out of His mouth.  Let’s get on fire for God and others can see us burn for Him. Then they will want the fire we have.

Quantity or Quality by Pastor Carl 8/28/22

Jdg 7:2, “And the LORD said unto Gideon, the people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

CEV The LORD said, “Gideon, your army is too big. I can’t let you win with this many soldiers. The Israelites would think that they had won the battle all by themselves, and that I didn’t have anything to do with it.”

Remember, grace is Gods ability in us and through us to do what our human ability cannot do.  Our humility with our availability enables Gods ability to be at work for us.

God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-6).  The ability of God in a few will do far more than what thousands can do.  Because Gideon’s army was too big, and because God will not share His glory with no other, Gideon was instructed to downsize.  Little is much when God is in it!  Our obedience to God always keeps God in it.  And when God is in it, He’s in it to win it!  And so are we!

So, make sure you are with Him, and He will be with you to cause you to win and defeat the enemy in your situation.  Humble yourself (make yourself teachable) under the mighty hand of God by giving Him all your cares so He can take care of your situations.  He gives more Grace to those who humble themselves to Him.  His Grace is enough to cause you to win!! Faith expects more Grace.  Faith keeps Grace from ending.  With God’s Ability, we will always get the victory.  So, seek His Face to find more Grace and you will get in place to run your race and He will get all the Glory!!!

The Word, The Name, and The Blood By Pastor Josh Hand 6/12/22
Heb 4:12 NIV For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-
edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it
judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Mark 16:17,18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall
they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
v18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt
them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of
their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Every born-again believer has been equipped with certain God given
resources: the Word, the Name, and the Blood. As humans we tend
to forget things and need to be reminded of who we are and who’s we
are. We belong to God, we are his sons and daughters. God sent His
Son Jesus into the earth to redeem us from the hand of satan. Jesus
defeated the devil and stripped him of all power and authority and
gave us authority over all the power of the enemy! Col 1:13 “Who hath
delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the
kingdom of his dear Son:”
When Jesus went to heaven to prepare a place for us, He
didn’t leave us to fend for ourselves. Not only did He send the
Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to help us, He gave us His Word, His
Name, and His Blood. The Word of God is called the “sword of the
Spirit” in Ephesians chapter six, and by using the Word against the
wiles of the devil, we can experience the victory that Jesus intended
us to walk in. He gave us an example in Luke chapter four when he
replied to the devil and said “it is written” and quoted the Scripture.
Every time Jesus spoke the Word of God to the devil it cut him up
and Jesus kept speaking the Word until the devil had no choice but to
There is power in the Word of God, the Name of Jesus, and in
the Blood of the Lamb. We as sons and daughters of the most high
God need to be reminded that these three resources were given to us

by God and that He wants us to use them so that we will walk in the
victory that Jesus purchased for us.

Get Stirred and Stay Stirred in the Word by Pastor Carl 6/15/22
Psa 91:1 He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. As the Apostle Peter did so do we. We stir you up by putting you in remembrance (2 Pet 1:13). The Apostle Paul said to stir up the gift that is in you (2 Tim 1:6). As we stir up the word in us, we stir up our faith. Christianity is called “The Great Confession”. Both the gift and the word in us is stirred up by our constant confession. Faith has a voice! The Bible says we will
say what we believe. A believer knows what to say regardless of what they may see. Jesus said out of the abundance of our heart our mouth speaks. So, the above scriptures tell us to dwell in the secret place of the Most High is to say of the LORD. What we say to the LORD and about Him determine our dwelling place. This is why it is a secret! God keeps His secrets for those who decide to dwell in His place of saying His Word. Just to say I’m a Christian is
not enough. I must say what Christ said. Confession will bring about possession. The just shall live by faith. Faith has a different walk and a different talk than the world has. God is always watching over His word to perform it. So I must always stay stirred up in the word by speaking it. God has already prepared a place for us as believers to dwell in here on earth. The place
He has prepared for us is the secret place of saying and confessing His Word. A person of the Word is not moved by anything but God’s Word. It takes practice but God has given us all the same amount of time to practice. It is our choice. Choose you this day where you will dwell. But the secret place is the safest place to be in the days we live in.

God wants to tell all and give all by Pastor Carl Hall 6/5/22
ESV Pro 1:23 If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to

you; I will make my words known to you.

ERV Pro 1:23 I wanted to tell you everything I knew and give you all
my knowledge, but you didn’t listen to my advice and teaching.
The book of Proverbs is called the book of wisdom and it is certainly an act of
wisdom for us to receive from its words of wisdom. God in His infinite wisdom
is advising all of us to turn at His reproof and listen to His advice and teaching.
If we will do that then He will pour out His Spirit and make known His words to
us. In other words, He will tell us everything and give us everything He has for
us to have. The Apostle Paul says in Rom 8:32 He who did not spare his own
Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us
all things? So we can see in order for us to know everything and have
everything God has for us, we must listen to His advice and turn from our
disobedience to Him. In other words, the hindrance to receiving any and
everything from God is a failure on our part to turn, repent, and listen to His
voice. It is His will to tell us and to give us every good and perfect gift. He
reveals to us in His word by His Spirit that He is the Giver, and not the taker.
He is a lover, and not a hater. It’s just who He is! But let me say it again. In
order for us to really know Him and who He really is, we must obey what He
has to say. We get to know Him in and through listen and obeying His word.
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever
would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he
rewards those who seek him. Real faith is of the heart and knows that God is
everything He says He is and does everything He says He does. So let us all take
God at His word by turning, repenting, listening, and obeying His voice and
watch Him pour out His Spirit, make known His words and teach us how to
receive everything from Him that Jesus has purchase for us to have in this
world and in the world to come.

Feeding time for all the sheep by Pastor Carl 04/03/22
Act 20:28, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
1 Peter 5:2, “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind.”
Both Paul and Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said for pastors to feed the flock of God. We see in these passages that the pastor has a responsibility to feed, and the sheep have a responsibility to eat,  or allow the pastor to feed them. When mom had the table prepared with food on it, I had to be there to be fed.  My mother had to spend time in preparing the food so I could spend time in consuming it.  Preparation time is never wasted time.  The pastor spends time preparing, and being prepared, for the meal to be served to his flock.  Psalm 23:5 says, “He prepares a table before me…” Ps 34:8 says to “taste and see that the LORD is good.” Sheep have to be present to taste and partake of the food on the table.  We are told to desire the milk of the word as newborn babes, that we may grow thereby, so we can mature and be fed the meat of God’s word.  Just as natural babies must be fed, so also are we, as spiritual babies, to be fed.  Our growth and development is determined on how regularly and how often we are fed.  So, as God’s sheep, let us ask Holy Spirit to create a fresh hunger in us so we will make sure we do not miss a meal. Holy Spirit prepares the meal, so why shouldn’t we receive it and benefit for it?  I have seen in times past that sheep don’t show up to partake of the meal their shepherd has prepared; and on the next day, week or month, they ask to meet with the pastor, malnourished and in need of manna from Heaven.  Purpose to be regular at meal time so you won’t miss out on any good thing God has prepared for you.

Building our house by Pastor Carl 03/27/22
Mat 7:24, “Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.”
Heb 3:6, “But Christ was faithful as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.”
The Bible tells us that our body is the temple or house of the Holy Spirit.  After we are born again of the Spirit, we become the house,or temple, of God.  We are told to glorify God in our body and spirit which belong to God (1 Cor 6:19-20).  Just as Christ was faithful over his house, or body, in allowing God, through the Holy Spirit to build Him and work through Him, we must do the same.  The Bible tells us Jesus increased in wisdom, favor, and stature both with God and man.  We also must allow Holy Spirit to build us as we grow in this earth.  A wise man builds his house on the rock of Jesus, who is the word of God.  Building any kind of building takes time to be built right and strong.  Father God is over the whole operation, Jesus is over the administration, and Holy Spirit is overseeing the building, and imparting grace and gifts to complete the work.  We must learn to flow with the direction of the Holy Spirit, and to go at His leading.  This is our part to play in the effectual building of our house and temple for God in us.  Remember, Holy Spirit will do the building if we will do the listening and obeying what He tells us to do.  It is God that is working in us to will and to do His good pleasure (Phil. 2:13).  His pleasure is to build strong temples in which He will dwell, and from which He will flow. The prophet Joel prophesied that God would pour out His Spirit and pour out OF His Spirit.  These are the days that He is doing just that. This has enabled Him to bring in the last day’s harvest of souls all over the world, and to also bring revival to the church that has been asleep.!!! This is a wakeup call for us all, so let’s heed the call and WAKE UP!

Living in two worlds by Pastor Carl 03/20/22
1 Cor. 14:14, “For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.”
Notice in this verse that Paul says “I am a spirit”.  If I pray, my spirit prays!

Whether we realize it or not, we live in two worlds: a physical world and a Spiritual world.  We are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body.  The devil and demons know this very well.  They are spirit beings, and they are constantly trying to have a body to work through in this physical world.  For anyone to operate in this physical world, they must do it in, or through, a physical body.  Because God created man to have dominion on this earth, He too must operate through a physical body to manifest Himself, and accomplish His plan on the earth.  The book of Genesis tells us that we were created in the image of God and after His likeness.  God is a spirit and we also, are a spirit that lives in a body.  We communicate in this physical world with our natural language.  We understand each other by words and expressions.  But since we also live in a spiritual world, we need an effective way of communication.  This is why God made a language of the Spirit available to all believers. It is called tongues in the Bible.  It is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or being filled with the Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.  This is a language from Heaven given by the Holy Spirit which is imparted into our spirits.  After Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, a new birth was made available, and a new way of living was given as the church began in the book of Acts.  They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.  They began speaking in a Heavenly language right here on earth.  It is a new way of talking, which empowers the believer for a new way of walking.  It is God’s way of talking to and through our spirit in this physical world.  Do you remember what Rev. Dean Braxton said he heard while he was in Heaven? They talked in a Heavenly language!  God makes it plain in His Word, the vital importance of communicating effectively both in this world and in the spirit realm. It can only happen by His Spirit speaking to and through our spirit. 1 Cor. 2:14, “Now the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged.” So let’s allow Holy Spirit to get us into His realm, so we can effectively communicate with Heaven and earth to fulfill God’s plan for us here on earth.

Love Never Fails by Pastor Carl 2/20/22
I Cor. 13:4  Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. 5 Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. 6  Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth. 7  Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits.
8 Love will never end.
Love never fails and never ends because it never gives up on people, it never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits.” Romans 5:5 tells us ….”the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit….” 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is Love.  We, as born again believers, are born of love and have God’s love inside of us.  That is why when we operate in God’s love and allow it to operate in us; we will never fail, never quit, never give up, never lose hope, and never stop trusting.  Faith works by Love (Gal. 5:6). Since faith works by love and love never fails, God’s love will keep us from failing, if we allow it to work in us each day. For God so loved that He gave.  Love is a giver, it’s not a taker. Jesus said greater love has no one than when they lay down their life for their friends.   So what if we purpose to allow the Agape Love to rule in our hearts and reign in our lives so that we too can never fail and never quit and never stop believing God?

The Message of the Cross by Pastor Carl Hall 2/13/22
1Co 1:18: The message about the cross doesn’t make any sense to lost people. But for those of us who are being saved, it is God’s power at work.
Gal 2:20BBE: “I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself up for me.”
1Pe 2:24: “Who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.”

The cross, crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ makes no sense to the natural mind and thinking of a person.  But it was in the plan of God, even before the creation of mankind, and the fall of man in the garden.  Scripture tells us that Jesus was the Lamb of God who was slain from the foundation of the world.  The Spirit of God teaches us from the Word of God that Jesus became sin for us all when He hung on that shameful tree.  He also took stripes on His back for us so we could receive healing for our entire being.  He paid the full price for all humanity to be saved, and we cannot understand it in our natural minds.  Through faith we understand (Heb 11:3).  Faith is how we know God and get to know His plan for mankind.  Jesus paid it all.  All to Him I owe.  Salvation is free, but there is a price for us to pay to walk in the revelation knowledge and power of the free gift. We must see that we were crucified with Christ on that cross before we can walk in the resurrected power that raised Him from the dead.  When Jesus was raised, we were raised with Him.  The price we must pay is to renew our minds, feed our spirits so we can take authority over our flesh man.  Jesus paid the price by giving us His life; we pay the price by giving Him our life.  We give Him our life by giving Him our heart, our soul, our mind, and our body. The life we now live in the flesh, we must live by the faith of the Son of God.

God wants to tell all and give all
ESV Pro 1:23 If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to

you; I will make my words known to you.
